What Little Things God Can Bless!

or

Don't Prejudge Potential by Size or Previous Experience!

Luke 13:18-22

Luke 13:18 - 22 18Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? 19It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it. 20And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? 21It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. 22And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.

So why do we assume that something small is ineffective? Why do we have the attitude that we are unable to accomplish a lot for the Lord because we are not a Deacon, Elder, Pastor, etc.? Can we do the JOB??? Can we be all that God wants us to be? Are we able to reach, change and even help direct peoples lives? YES!!

We as a grain of mustard we need to be planting all that we can!

Great potential despite the appearance of littleness

Growth was the forte of the mustard seed as well as its design.

The Garden was the place for the seed to be (CHURCH).

The tree was a giant able to be a giver of refuge for all those around it in the garden.

Know the Leaven that was able to change those it met.

Affects all around by changing them to be like it is!

How do we affect those we are around?

How do those we are around affect us?

Leaven is not apparent at first glance.

Ordinary everyday Christians - not leaders necessarily!

Strength lies in the fact it can work over a period of time.

Less is not always a disadvantage with leaven.

Habitual use of our Leaven will spread the cause of Christ.
