Rejected by Jerusalem Christians - 26

A demeaning time of his life

Life was threatened - 23
Bravery appeared to have been jettisoned - 24-25
Character was questioned - 26

But, there was…
A demonstrative thought by Barnabus - just when you think no one cares…

Took him (means to lay hold) and succored him
Brought him and stood with him
Declared him and spoke for him

And we see…
A delivered touch from God - vs. 31

Churches had…

Rest (prosperity or peace)
Edification
Fear (respect) of the Lord
Comfort of the Holy Spirit

So what does this mean to us?
Should I never get discouraged?
Should I throw up my hands and quit?
What we should do is trust the Lord!

SO HOW DO WE HANDLE THINGS WHEN WE ARE LOW? WHEN WE ARE UPSET? WHEN WE ARE DISCOURAGED?

Look to Jesus - Heb.12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith…

Call to Jesus - Romans 10:9-10 ⁹That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Believe on Holy Spirit for His Help
Follow after the Lord and His ways - 1 Timothy 6:11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
