INTRO: Some of this may sound political tonight. I wan t you to know that it is not intended to be so. If you want to know my politics, I will discuss them with you in private. However, if this sounds political, it is because many of our politicians are trampling on our God given rights and responsibilities. It is okay for them to do that, but not for us to complain or herald what is right.

We are beginning to see a shift in our nation. We are seeing judges run amok. Liberal lawyers herald the cause of minority rights to the point that hey trample the will of the people. They have made rulings based on an ideology that is contrary to God and His statutes. They have begun to place more importance on the "rights" of man than the rights of God's Word. They either reject or throw-out His Word, while reveling in "their own thing." What does this mean for us? How will it affect us? What should we do?

I want to look at some of this tonight and try to give a few simple answers.

God's Word is good

God's Word is right

God's Word is true

God's Word is lasting

We can accept His Word

We can apply His Word

We can align with His Word

We can reject His Word

We can ignore His Word

We can disobey His Word

We can forget His Word

We can even literally destroy His Word

His word still judges us

His word still instructs us

His word still pre-exists us

His word still outlasts us

A penalty is paid

God's blessings are given

God's love is shared
