Building God’s House
2 Chr. 3, 4
I cannot imagine how beautiful God’s house was. His "Work" today can be just as beautiful in His eyes.
God’s selection – vs. 1
God’s timing – vs. 2
God’s instruction (Word) – vs. 3
God’s blueprint (the house was made up with…) vs.4 - 7
Overlay of gold (purity and blessings) – God puts His blessing on us just like the overlaid gold was placed on the items.
Fir – showing straightness (obedience) better than sacrifice…
Palm trees – showing helpfulness – (helps) Like an oasis in a desert.
Chains (caring) People notice this and they can "grab" us just like a chain
Precious stones (Shining righteousness – His) They see our actions, faith, godliness, etc. and it shines in their lives.
Mt. 13:43
Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.Beams that support (prayer) This is a foundation of the church.

Walls (provision for His work)
Doors (outreach for souls) Do we care for lost souls?
Cherubims (the blessing of children) May be a stretch for some of the kids…
Nails (Love that binds) IT is love that will help keep us on track for the Lord (together).
Upper chambers (hidden works) Those that do not worry about getting recognition or praise.
Vail of His hidden plan (Faith)
Altar and furnishings (worship and praise) We must be in His House to worship and give Him the praise He deserves.
