Drawing Nigh to Him
James 4:8; Heb. 10:22;

We need to get closer to Him in a way that we have never done before. WHY? Because He has promised that He is coming again. Is He coming in soon? MAYBE. The idea is we need to get ready for Him, because He is coming! The real question that exists, are we ready for Him to take us away? I am not talking about a spaceship! I am talking about a Messiah that is coming after His own and will joyously take us to be ever with Him!

So the question that needs to be looked at, are we willing to be different this year? Are we happy where we are or do we want to make a difference in others and our lives?

In order to draw close to Him, we must first be…

Dissatisfied with just making it (mediocrity)

• Willing to designate Him first in your life
• Willing to dedicate your life to His cause
• Willing to defend the faith
• Willing to depend upon Him for assistance

Determined to withstand numerous obstacles

• Deviousness of Satan
• Dearness of Friends
• Daily pursuit of our Occupation
• Desires of our Hearts
