Lovest Thou Me?
Jn. 21:1-25

What did Jesus mean when He asked the question, "Lovest thou me more than these?" What is He after?

He wants us to give our all.

He wants us to give our best.

He wants us to give our self.

When does He want us to do this?

Now, while we can

Now, while we have the desire

Now, while we have the joy

Why does He want this from us?

For His lambs - little ones

For His sheep - we know

For His sheep - He knows

What prevents us from loving (serving) Him, or what do we place in front of Him? (To love Him is to serve Him)

1. No. 1 (Self)

2. Things No. 1 likes - anything we care more for than Christ

Hobbies, "toys", games, sports, TV, foods (elaborate meals), etc.

3. Things No. 1 wants

Jobs, cars, houses, families, etc.

4. Things No. 1 needs

Jobs, money, food, home, family, etc.

Well, what about all the others, what is their excuse?

Does not matter 20-22

He wants you to follow Him, What will you do?
