There Is A Big Change Coming, Are You Packed And Ready?

Rev. 21:1-8

2 Pet. 3: 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Unpack all these things you won't need them there!

1 Thes. 4: 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

We won't need some of what we think of as necessities

Flashlight He is the light

Rev. 22: 5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Sunglasses No squinting
Checkbook No bills to pay
Overcoat No harsh weather
Deep Woods Off No pesky mosquitoes
Snow shovel Won't matter

There will be no need for many things we use every day

Handkerchief No tears
Medicine Bottle No sickness
Insurance Card No Hospitals NO DEATH THERE - Ill 101
Glucose testers No diabetes
Diet plans We will be fine
Deodorant No problem
Hairspray It won't matter
Bifocals Won't need any glasses
Aches and pains GONE

Our lifestyle will be very different

Padlock No Crime
Insurance policies No uncertainty
Earplugs No unwanted sounds
Maps Won't need them
Radio No Stations share - Walmart experience

We won't take any questionable attitudes

2 Tim. 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Heb. 12: 14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Temper Not there
Harsh Words All Forgotten
Jealousy Not there
Lying Won't be there
Fear We will be confident in the Lord
Sexual sins No part in heaven
Hate Wrong place!

We will have a brand new way of doing things

Yearbooks We'll know as we are known

1Cor.13: 12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

Wedding Ring No marriage

Matt. 22: 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Alarm Clock Not driven by time
Phone book No phones
Gas Card Won't use it

Sounds like we'll not need anything to take with us! Not so!

We will need to take Christ with us
It is only by Him that we can enter in that glorious place
We must have experienced a change
Singing voice we will sing to the Lord
Uplifted hands - we won't worry about how we look
Praising attitude - we WILL praise the Lord!
Worship robes - we will lift Him up
Joyous heart - count on being happy
Loved ones CANNOT REACH THEM AFTER WE ARE GONE
