INTRO: We see a revival break out in the early church that just kept on and on. Why? There have been revivals break out in history and the reasons were varied, but all tied back to repentance and living for God. Let us look at the early church's revival.

We first notice…

1. Jehovah Saves Souls 41


As we look at this scripture, we see, Revival came because of God
 

1. 3000 Saved that day and more to come
2. God could trust that fellowship to protect them
So, we see that revival comes from God!!!
 
 
2. Jehovah Strengthens Souls 41


We see their early obedience to Him through…

1. Baptism
2. His Word

 
So, we see that revival comes from God!!! And

Revival is strengthened through our obedience.
 

3. Jehovah Sustains Souls 42


They continued in revival with…

1. Apostles doctrine
2. Apostles fellowship
3. Prayers

 
So, We see that revival comes from God!!! And

Revival is strengthened through our obedience. And

Revival is continued within our fellowship.
 

4. Jehovah Steers Souls 43-47


God's desires were being met because they…

1. Daily met with one accord - 46
2. Broke bread often in fellowship - 46
3. Praised God - 47
4. Lived Godly in front of others - 47
5. Handled the added souls - 47
   
   

Revival is strengthened through our obedience. And

Revival is continued within our fellowship. And

Revival keeps happening if we allow it.

The following observations about the early church can be easily seen…

• God blessed them
• They were obedient
• They were steadfast
• They worshiped often
• They affected others around them
• They sacrificially gave to God
• They loved each other not just God
• They were happy and glad
• They praised God!
• God Continued to bless them.

We cannot have revival without honest repentance and humble continuance in the Lord!
