INTRO: Do we love God? Is it known? Do we love God? Consider these things today as we look at His Word
 

  1. The same is known of Him. 


    2. 8:1 Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.
    2 And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.
    3 But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

    1. It is known by others.
      1. By God
      2. By dog
      3. By people
      4. By Himself

    2. He will have love in his life.
      1. He will love God
      2. He will love God's creation
      3. He will love people

    3. He will share love.
      1. With his family
      2. With his neighbors
      3. With his friends
      4. With strangers

    ASK YOUR SELF…

    Do I love God?   Yes/No         Is it KNOWN?   Yes/No


  2. He will keep God's words. Jn. 14:23-24


    3. 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
    24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
    25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
    26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

    1. He will remember the "words"
      1. He will seek the "words
      2. "He will keep the "words"

    2. He will look the part
      1. He will walk the walk
      2. He will talk the talk

    3. He will support God's work
      1. He will help others do the work
      2. He will do the work
