Tuning up for Race Day

Part 1 - Heb. 12:1-3

My wife and myself both rue the day of all the racing info that we are bombarded with during the month of May. First it is practice and all the talk of rookies and of course the older names we know, then qualification days, carburetor day, and last, "The Race."

"I do not care for the race Bro. Gary," you may say. Let us consider another great race -- ours, for the Lord. How are you racing? Do you have enough fuel? Good tires? Good suspension? The right crew? Do you have a race plan? A sponsor? Are you ready????

First I want you to consider/pretend or make yourself the driver of this car in your mind

Second I want to state our goals with this series:

I have identified five (5) basic things that are needed to race effectively. Today I want to look at the first two, our sponsor and our car.

Our sponsor is whom we race for.

WE NEED A..
