Staying in Love With God and Revival
Is. 40:31
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

INTRO: Now that revival has been here, will we let it slip away? Will we fall back into the same old routines? Will we keep the fire Bro. David preached about in the furnace? Will we be the encouragers he paralleled to the geese? What about the things we have hidden in our lives, like the stone that was rolled away? And how can we forget the message he preached concerning the boy's small lunch…will we give what we have to God so he can bless and use it greatly????

I want to take time and look at our lives - will we keep revival in our lives????? Revival can be compared to our marriages. Do we keep the blessings a good marriage can bring? Do we quit working towards a good relationship because we said "I do?" Or do we continue striving to be the best mate we can be? Just as we should work to keep our marriages good, we need to keep our love for God strong!

First we must continue on and we…

  1. Don't dare let up
    1. Claim Him as your own, often
    2. Obey Him with an obedient love of a loving child
    3. Serve Him with an ordered singleness of mind

Just as with a spouse that we love, we …
  2. Don't think of looking away
    1. Look at Him with longing
    2. Follow Him with His leading
    3. Find Him worthy of all your devotion

And with a spouse, that we are so appreciative of, then…
  3. Don't chance losing it
    1. Praise Him often as He is worthy
    2. Worship Him as one so lovely
    3. Thank Him earnestly for His greatness and love
