What Prayer Can Be Used For
Matt. 6:9-15

INTRO: Prayer is what we need this year in our lives. More than programs, church attendance, giving, more than anything we can do we need prayer in our lives. Through this we can serve Hime to the best of our abilities!

    1. It is a glory to God when we use prayer Ps. 91:16
    2. We are a true Son when we talk to Him  Mt. 6:9

  2. Communication - We must talk to Him - How can we except He lives in us?
    1. God listens to us when we pray Mt. 7
    2. God helps us pray when we pray - Ro. 8:26,27

  3. Crutch (help not replacement)
    1. In trouble - Like David being chased Ps 91:15
Use IL 111
    1. In our weakness and inability - Like the thief on the cross
  1.  Cover (protection) for us
    1. We are in tune with the Great protector - Like Daniel
    2. He will help our infirmities - Like Hezekiah
