Hold to the Good Things God Has for Us
Pro. 27:1-12
  1. Make every moment count without boastful attitudes 1-2

    1. Serve God well God wants our service
    2. Serve out of love, not out of boasting God doesn’t need our boasting

     
  2. Evade envious dissension 3-6

    3.  
    1. Realize the burden of envy eats away at us
    2. Realize the hurt of envy hurts and maims others as well


    Use IL.81
     

  3. Strive for steadfast allegiance 7-8

    4.  
    1. Hunger for spiritual strength when we are hungry everything tastes better
    2. Remain planted for greater blessings true about spiritual or physical

     
  4. Cling to correct counsel 9-10

    "A thirsty ear will drink a thousand mouths dry!
     

    1. Godly advice is often an earlobe away – Godly friends are there to help
    2. Good advice won’t help if it is not heeded "I know! I know I need to…"

     
  5. Walk Godly with our eyes open 11-12

    1. Serve God and Him alone many avenues of service
    2. Shun sin!

      3.  

       

      We can’t hold to the things of God when we are grasping for the things of the world!!!
