We Need…
James 4:1-17

INTRO: There are so many things in our lives that we need or at least think we need. We often find we also have extra baggage that we carry around too. I want to take time today and look at some things on our lives that I feel God wants us to have!

We need:

  1. Prudent Plans to serve God
    1. Submit unto God - vs. 7
    2. Draw nigh to God - 8
  2. The Promise of Profitable Prayer in our lives
    1. Understand the needs that exist - 9
    2. Humble ourselves - vs. 6,10
  3. To have Pleasing Praise for Him
    1. Understand our frailty
    2. Boast on Him and lift Him up.
  4. Plenteous Productivity without the bad
    1. Remove evil desires from your life – vs. 1-6
    2. Do Good – 17
  5. Perky Pleasantness for Him
    1. Affect others around us for Him because we are excited

      2. Be a beacon to those around us because He is exalted
