INTRO: Last week I used the thought, "Where Shall We Look?" In that I dealt with our looking within ourselves to find the answer God has for our lives. Today I want to take an opportunity to look at the love God desires for us.

Love is a great word! Often misused, misrepresented, and by many today just missed! There are so many different applications that we apply to love that it would be difficult to just touch on them to any degree here this morning!

I want to look at a portion of scripture this morning that deals with some areas of love that God is involved in our lives.
 

1. It is God’s Love that has brought us to this point

 
1. Salvation made available
2. Our being here (His love draws us)
3. His love binds us (together)
4. His love keeps us
5. His love shares us (with the world)

2. It is God’s love that changes our very being

 
1. We have love for the brethren if God’s love is a part of us (some of the ones we used to dislike – we love now – WHY?…God is within us!)
2. God’s love changes our being, thoughts, actions, deeds, etc. big and little areas of our lives are changed!

 
3. God’s love will cause us to be givers!

 
1. We are more apt to see the need
2. We are more able to meet the need

 
4. God’s love will keep us the way He wants us to be

 
1. He softens our hearts
2. He knows more than our hearts
3. He speaks to our hearts
4. He dwells within our hearts
5. He guides our hearts
6. He bolsters our hearts
