INTRO: 1 Cor. 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet show I unto you a more excellent way. This scripture needs to be our goal. We as a church need to want the best that God has for us.

Starting a two-part message today I want to examine how God feels about Spiritual Gifts. What does He tell us? What does He expect from us? How should we approach this matter?

1. Strengthens others with ourselves – like twisted strands -
2. Unites believers together - Less schism - 25
3. Makes us more complete
4. Makes us more dependent on the Lord and each other
