1. We were chosen (in Him) before the foundation of the world. -- 4a

2. We were chosen that we might be Holy, with out blame, and in love. -- 4b

3. It pleased God to adopt us as children through Jesus Christ (predestined as part of the plan) -5

4. We are accepted in the Beloved. -- 6

5. We have redemption (as in a ransom) through His blood. -- 7a

6. We have (real) forgiveness of sins because of His abundant grace. (unmerited favor) -- 7b

7. We have received all these things because of His wisdom and prudence (foresight) -- 8

8. We have had all this revealed to us that we might be a part of the greater scheme of things to come. -- 9,10

9. God has set aside an inheritance for us through Christ. -- 11

10. Our acceptance of Him is the reason for our part in His plan. -- 12-13

11. Christ is the earnest (guarantee) of our inheritance. -- 14

12. Paul was really thankful for the saints that were born of Christ. -- 15,16

13. Paul cared for the saints after their conversion (that they might grow in the Lord) -- 17

14. Paul realized that there is a better experience for the Christian if we will but seek for it. -- 18-19

15. There is one that we can look to that has all power and ability and the desire to help us in our quest for Him. -- 20-23
