WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH YOUR INHERITANCE?

Luke 15: 11-24

I. Will you ask God for your blessing? vs 12

A. Desire for a blessing is needed

B. Desire to seek God

II. Will you leave where you need to be? vs 13 A. The son was needed by the father.

B. We are needed here at East 38th St.

III. Will you misuse the "blessing" that God gives you? vs 13 A. God will hold us accountable

B. We can make such a difference in others lives.

IV. Will you realize your need to return home? vs 13-17 A. Many times it is not easy to return home & admit you were wrong. vs 14-15

B. Many times it takes a calamity in our lives to cause us to come back. vs 16

V. What will you do with your inheritance?? A. Today is the time to stop and think, " I need to go home!" vs 18-19

B. God is ready to welcome you home like the Prodigal Son! vs 20-24
